Im having trouble getting Transporter2 to play on my Dual Layer DVD-r, is it because it is a double sided disc??? I use AnyDVD and DVD Shrink and both don't work to copy, and PowerDVD wont play it.. says No Disc in Drive hmmmm.... Other DVDs have worked just not this one, although a friend of mine has copied it so I dont believe it is coded.

Transporter 2 has no special protections whatsoever. I ripped it with DVD Decrypter via Mode, File F into the hard drive flawlessly. And burned it with Nero Burning Rom. Transporter 2 doesn't need DL media to backup, it's merely 4.17GB only. All you need to do is rip and burn.

Good luck and burning!!

Open Decrypter and in the Mode tab you will see File F, make sure it is checked to rip your DVD in file mode vs. iso. File mode works out much better for the protected disks.

@Lithrgic.....maybe you are using crappy media..... try the better stuff like: Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Maxell, to name a few. check out this media guide:http://www.videointerchange.com/dvd.htm#DVD

having good media to burn to will prevent many problems later! And the cost of good media is the same as buying the crappy Memosux! So you might as well buy the good stuff to start out with!

It may be a bum pressed disc. Look at it for damage:Scratches/fingerprints/anything that doesn't look perfect.

That one's a DVD-5 for each side. You can use DVD Decrypter in Mode ISO read to hard drive and Mode ISO write/locate those mds files and burn. You shouldn't have to go through file mode.

I just used plain old DVD Shrink and autoburn with Nero. Dvd decrypter's burn engine does give one of my stand alone players fits.

I didn't even have to enable AnyDVD in the background.

Try disabling AnyDVD and see what happens.I only enable it when I run into trouble. This way I can keep track of which ones need it,and which ones don't.

Is that the same disc that your friend has,or a different disc?

Try to borrow his original copy since he had no trouble..
