I do alot of research and that answers alot of my questions just going through old post and things but i could not find the answer the what is the difference between swap magic 2.0 and 3.6 dvd boot disk... i have 2.0 and it works fine 90% of the time but am i missing out on something? ..thanks for any help

I think the main part is....

SM3 is compatible with more games

SM3 is compatible with all PS2 versions

I duno if SM2 can play imported games but SM3 can.

yes, 2.0 is old, outdated, and sucked compared to the newer versions
Plus i think that starting with 3.0, it was the first time you could change screen modes. 3.0 on up will work better for you.

The only reason that it is more compatible with games is that cd loader is built into it.
