You need Burning software like DVD Decrypter, Nero, or Alcohol 120%, a DVD Burner, quality blank media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim, and some type of mod like Swap Magic or a modchip to boot your PS2 backups.

So far I've never had a lag, skip, freeze, or boot failure since I switched to Taiyo Yuden's. With results like that, why would I use anything else?
