HELP! playback problems after burning dvd with nero

Hi everyone!
Unfortunately, I'm having playback problems after burning a dvd image with nero. The process I follow to back up DVD's is the following:
I start Any dvd to decrypt the original dvd. Then I open Clone DVD 2 to reauthor the DVD and create dvd folders in my HDD. Then I compress the files with DVD Shrink. Then I check if the Vob files are ok and then I finally create a dvd image with Clone DVD. Finally I burn the image using nero.

Anyway, I used to burn directly from Dvd Shrink, but after I installed Clone DVD 2 I got playback skipping on the stand alone dvd player and on the dvd drive of my pc.
Now I burn the image using nero at 8x speed; but I've always done it like this and never had any problems till now. One thing I noticed is that the burning process took like 2 minutes more than usual.
I don't think i have a bug cos I scanned my pc and it seems clean.

I hope any of you guys can help me cos I'm driving mad here!

After doing all of that I would be surprised if your file burned at all. Most people try to keep it to a minimum of programs you use so many I got lost in your process. Not only that you are burning too fast which is probably why you got skipping in your file from Clone. If you AnyDVD then run it through Shrink create your image and burn with Nero, or run it through Clone and that program will burn. You can reauthor in both programs.

ALLWAYS Burn Video DVD"s at 4X or Slower...This is if you would Like them to Play on your DVD Player from beginning to end and more than Just Once......

It is a well Known Fact that Most Skipping Playback Problems are Due to Burn errors which are caused from burning at too High of a speed or Bad Media or a combination of the Two.....

Thanks for answering guys. I will try changing media and decrease the burning speed . Although it is strange since I've always done the same and it worked till now. I'll give it a shot anyway to your hints. see ya!
