I was wondering if I could use DVD-RW/DVD+RW to make a backup of one of my games?

It usually doesn't work, and if it does work, they are very bad for your ps2 laser.

Y you say they bad for the Laser. So if those don't work then should I get the Taiyo Yuden DVD-R media or the Verbatim DVD-R media. Maxell works good but I just want the best.

I say they are not good because 1 of the modchip manufacturers did a bunch of tests on different discs. The said rw is the worst for your laser because of the low reflectivity.
