Hello,

I am trying to use dvd decrypter to make a copy of madagascar which i bought a couple of days ago. However, when i insert the disc it DVD decrypter gets stuck at 'Parsing IFO Files... (VTS_08_0.IFO)' and also sometimes gives an error msg that says "InterfaceThread Runtime Exception Message=EAccessViolation" I have no clue what this all means...I have never had this problem with a movie before. Any clues??? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks..

If yo don't have AnyDVD/Used your 21 day trial up/Don't want to buy it you can do the following:

1) Rip with DVDFab
2) Run files thru VOB Blanker (If needed)
3) Open Files in DVD Shrink

All programs are freeware, you can get them from my sig if you need.

I was having the same problem until I read this thread. I tried both methods (cause I like to experiment ;) and both worked. Thanks.

I just tried to make a backup copy of madagascar. I tried using DVD Shrink and AnyDVD running. Each time about half way through it stop with an error saying out of memmory. And I know that I have plenty of space on my haddrive and memmory. Also I a large amount of blank space at the begining. Any Ideas on this?

Use DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD running in the back ground. Then import the files into Shrink and it'll work.

If not...do a search in this forum for VOBlanker. There's a thread on how to use it for Madagascar. It worked for me too.

PS...don't post your email address. That's why we have PM's.

I tried DVD Decrypter to backup Madagascar. It made a backup, but when I imported the files into Shrink, it read an error.
I found the forum on VOBlanker, followed their instructions and it worked. I don't understand VOBlanker seems like a good program to learn for a backup.
