i need help to use this motherboard which always boots into the bios with the message: "message confirmation: system intruded. chassis opened or tempered before. please check system."

i've followed advices to uncap/recap the chassis jumpers, remove/restate the motherboard battery, clear/flash the bios....etc. but all failed to boot system into window-xp. this damn message page just keeps on showing up again and again on every boot. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh shyt...i had the same problem once, my friend wanted me to put windows xp on his computer (windows 98) and so i did but during or after the process (cant remember) an error occurd, told me that same thing u just stated, and then it asked for windows 98 serial number, we put it in, an after words itll just show his desktop image real small instead of full screen, n it wouldnt display no icons and that error kept comin up.. we tried everything, nuttin worked, to dis day the computers still dead.. good luck man, idk wat to tell u

To the first guy all you have to do is go into the bios and disable chassis intrusion detection. Two the second guy take a look at my site and maybe I can fix it for a reasonable price.:>

Then do this pull the battery out of the mobo for a minute with power off. This will clear the cmos and by default most boards have chassis instrusion off. So you should be good. If not then update the board to the newest bios. Maybe they had a problem with this and fixed it.:>

all cables and ram re-set. nothing happened.

then after battery out of mobo w/power off, put back after a while and boot, it did show "system boot failure. insert system disk and press enter" (should be a good sign, but it did not boot further with a disk inserted and then reset itself and went back to that "system intruded, chassis open...." bios screen again. this is driving me crazy!!!
