Help with the Audio/Video sinchronization!

I have an AVI file in which the Audio and the Video are not sinchronized together, the audio goes faster than the video, how can I sinchronise them together?

I've been told that the programm VirtualDubMode can do that, and i downloaded it but, i don't know how exactley do to this.

could someone explain me how?
