hi
if i back up my games on black discs do i still need a mod chip in my psone to play them (i was told that the psone looks for the color of the disc & the mod chip eliminates this) so if i buy the black discs maybe i wouldn't need a chip???? thanks for any help Graham

Which type of playstation are you referring to? The white one or the gray one? If its the PS2, then you need a fliptop or other modification, or a gameshark/action replay for this to work.

open up your case, and press the eject button, you'll see something move, stick something in tehre so it stays down. then put in a ps1 game (original) or a gameshark, once the ps1 logo pops up, swap it and play!
