i need to know because i got this thing called ultimate swap magic collection or something.. and it says when i want to play ps2 dvd games i need to load a ps2 dvd-r game that's bigger than the import one i want to play. so please does anyone know a site where u can find the size of ps2 dvd-r games? btw does all ps2 have a default hard drive in them? if so can i just use hd loader and transfer the game into my ps2 hd?
so in other words the hd loader i currently have is useless? huh... well that slighty sux... does everyone else agree with this? btw wat is the coloader... and does anyone else have the ultamite collection from ps2cover so that they could help me with all the options in the cd? im reall confused, and going to the website doesnt help either.
And as some others have pointed out, to find out what size your backup disc is, you could put the disc in your drive and look in DVD Decrypter.. but much easier than that is when you have the .iso on your hard drive, open up an explorer window in the folder you keep your iso in and hover over it.
No offense here, but how did you think you could use HD loader without a HDD? it's fairly self explanatry, like you can't ride a bike without legs.
Actually, for some PS2 games, especially DVD9 games, you'll need to rip it with DVD Decrypter into your hard drive first, and click on the ISO, then it'll gives you the right ISO size (GB).

well.. i thought that ps2 had a hd of it's own... now it just sounds like a noobish mistake... lol ty tho and does anyone else have another list? the one paddymail has was useful (ty btw) but im wondering if there's more out there and if so can some1 give me a link
No the PS2 doesn't have a HD built in like the X-Box. You have to add one and hook it into the expansion bay with the network adapter. The ultimateswap stuff is shite. You can get Swap Magic 3.6 off any number of sites for $20-$30. It has a DVD and a CD disc, so you don't need to constantly TOC refresh to load games.
