Is it possible to convert an MDS/MDF file into an Iso? My problem is that I'm trying to convert a MDS/MDF Pal file to NTSC, but NTSCtoPAL converter only works with Isos. Any suggestions?

Burn the MDS file to disc with DVD Decrypter. Once that's done, rip the copied game to your HD with DVD Decrypter. That will give you a mds and an iso file to work with.

@tokijin- i was just wondering wat wud be best for weasrock. should he use a DVD-RW for making the iso, and for making the game obviously he will need high quality media either in -R or +R format.

to be honest i don't see a point using a DVD-R for just making the iso since he isn't going to play wid it.do u agree?

Where does it say he's using DVD-RW's? The point of burning the game to disc is so that he can create an iso from the burned disc. Once a game is burned to disc, the end product is the same, regardless if it started as an mds file or an iso file. If you put a burned game in your DVD-ROM drive and look at the files in Windows Explorer, it'll contain all the game files. You can then create a backup from a backup with DVD Decrypter. If he rips the copied game back to his HD, it'll give him a mdf and an iso file. Then he can patch the iso file with NTSC2PAL patcher. The reason I didn't explain it further, is because it's quite technical and not real important. In short I didn't want to confuse him.

@tokijin- yeah i know what you mean. all i was saying that since he would be making the disc only for creating the iso and not for playing wudn't it be better if he made it on DVD-RW. this way he will have the iso and no wasted disc.

it was merely a suggestion for weasrock.

The PS2 doesn't read DVD-RW's well at all. Even they do, the strain on the laser is enormous, something about the surface of the DVD-RW reflecting the laser light. It's never a good idea to use DVD-RW's with the PS2.

I see what you're saying Sulaim.. in theory it's correct that the way you're suggesting is good as he wouldn't be wasting a disc to get the iso onto the hard drive so that he can patch it.. but then the guy is going to have to go and buy a DVD-RW which aren't that cheap.. then do what Tokijin said... whereas he could just use a blank DVD-R which are much cheaper and then keep it incase something goes wrong or throw it away... so in short unless he has another use for that DVD-RW disc, there's no point in buying it really.
Another way he could do it without wasting a disc(if it's that important) - is to use isobuster to rip the files to the hard disc from that image file, use cd dvdgen to create the iml file and then gnies Iml2iso program to get it to an iso ready for patching... much easier tokijin's way though :)
