Hi There,

i am buying a enw graphics card after selling my x800 pro and would like some advice on a new card. i am currently favouring towards one of the 7800GT Cards as i have a budget of around $300USD. These two i was looking at:

EVGA Geforce 7800GT

XFX Geforce 7800GT
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150124

Any advice or other good cards around that range would be much appreciated...

Thanks

outa dem two, i go with the evga, on my opinion, its a better name brand for wat i hear. n besides that, it says it gotta higher core clock.. n as u can tell the xfx has 2 s-video cables and 2 dvi to vga adapters and still is at a lower price.. thats becuz the evga's better, i'd get that..

2nd that

BTW...XFX is a respectable brand as well and the cards are very similar...but come on...you get Quake 4 for free! If you dont mind spending the extra $15...then go for the eVGA.

yeah but i never played quake, i dont think ill like that game anayways.. but true tho, i mean tha card is cheaper n u can use those 15 dollas towards a good ass game like... splintercell... but if u tryn to have a better card, which is recommended.. i suggest the evga.

EDIT-
hold up.. i just looked at the pics of the xfx and appearently it bring a shyt load of games with it too.... in that case, if thats true, i'd say fuck quality..i'd get the xfx

1)Liltone please refrain yourself from swearing on this forum
2)Like I said, both cards are pretty much equal, but XFX is great quality too. If there were two equal cards and one was eVGA while the other was XFX, I'd go for the XFX. The only reason I recommended the eVGA here was because you get a free game and the clock speeds are *slightly* faster. But if you get games with the XFX as well, then go ahead and go for the XFX. That 20Mhz exra clock speed will not make a difference.
