what is w32.alcra.b virus and how do i get rid of it

W32.Alcra.B is a worm that propagates through file-share networks and attempts to disable several programs on the compromised computer.

Remove using a virus scanner/ remover...

my norton systemworks and anti virus is 2003 so i think itis out of date would this be the cause of it getting in .i was using limewire for music.read the sites you sent me but no further on what next please

Install, update and do a complete system scan. Let it remove what it finds and save report. Post that report here.

And download and run the Avast! Virus Cleaner Free
That should solve your problem

well i think that did the trick , downloaded and ran both ewido and avast, not very good at this so didnt know how to post the report here, but done the job ok .class,thanks alot be in touch ,leefish .
