How to set Dvd Decryter burn speed to x1 only.

Sorry for my newbie qus, i have been trying how to set my dvd decryter burn speed to x1 but everytime i start to burn the disk and it get to x4. Can anyone tell me how to make the speed only x1?

The reason i want to x1 speed is because people say that burning ps2 game with x1 speed is better for the disk (less error).

i had the same problem. so i got high quality maxell 8x discs and used DVD Decrypter, it went to 4x. so i got top class backups.

so try getting hold of high quality 8x media and ur prob will be solved.

Yeah Sulaim is right. Burning at 1x isn't necessary if you have a newer burner and your firmware is up to date. Burn at 4x to quality 8x media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. The Maxell's that are made in Japan are also excellent quality. You can find them at CompUSA or Office Depot. Make sure it says made in Japan on the package. Sony DVD+R's made in Japan are Taiyo Yuden's. Either one of those should work well. The key is to make sure the brand you get says "made in Japan" on the label.
