I recently purchased SwapMagic 3.1 disks, and I didn't order a No Solder Modchip or a slidecard. WHY? Because, my PS2 doesn't reset when I open the disk tray.

Here's what happens.

I insert SwapMagic, then when I open the tray, it says, "Insert bigger TOC disk"
I haven't tried any backups but I want to know if I should buy a slidecard before I make any.

What do you mean by "my PS2 doesn't reset when I open the disk tray"? The ps2 doesn't reset when you hit eject, but it does recheck the securtiy stuff on the disc. Just make yourself a slide card (a piece of siding works good).
