Factory pressed or back up????

Hi
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a factory pressed game and a back up.....if there is any diffence that is. Thanks

A factory pressed game has code written itno the burst cutting area BCA of the disc that the ps2 reads.. a regular dvd writer cannot copy that part of the disc, which is why people need a boot disc such as swap magic or a modchip. And before you ask, the boot disc cannot have that area copied either, so no point in trying to copy it unless you have another boot method.
