I am having some problems with Juiced. It's kinda laggy in the menus and when trying to bet it sometimes might freeze. I didn't rebuild it or patch it so I am just wondering if that would be a good bet to go with to bet a better quality burn?

Burn at 2.5x to 4x with GOOD QUALITY media such as Taiyo Yuden's

Right on. I need to invest in some Verbatims, although I heard that Fujifilm is decent media. Is that a bit of flawed advice or not?

Sounds like a media issue to me.

Juiced is just a straight rip and burn with DVD Decrypter (or ripped with DVD Decrypter and burn with Nero Burning Rom, Nero Express).

Philips, TDK, Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Ritek
those are some of the better media's you can get for games
I suggest getting 8X DVD-R
Burn them at 4X
Also make sure you have the latest firmware for your burner.
