Last night i was playing around with Nero Vision, the edition that comes with Nero 7. I combined 2 MPEG files and it worked great. However, there was no audio. Any idea what the problem is?
I believe i checked all of the typical tabs, but nothing is working.
So are you saying there's no audio when your project finished? Maybe the audio is corrupted by chacne? Or maybe you need to run it through K-Lite codec Pack. It would be nice to see what "audio format" you choose when using Nero Vision, that would be nice if you can provide the Nero Vision log.

When i play the seperate MPEGs through WIndow Media Player, they work just fine, sound and all. When i go into Nero Vision to make a movie and click on them, there is no audio on the final combined MPEG. When i click on the inital MPEG, i can play it through Nero Vision, with sound no problem.
Once Nero Vision completed, it should asked you to save the project. I usually have a separate folder just for my Nero Vision projects & logs under Nero Vision. You can have windows search for Nero vision log, nerovisionlog, visionlog.txt or vision log txt. I know that Nero Recode 2 and Nero Vision has their own logs and when it's completed, it usually asked where you want to save it to, but the regular Nero logs (Nero Burning Rom, Nero Express) can be found at: C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory, but this is not what we're looking for.
Basically, I just want to see your Nero Vision and see what's your settings inside the "audio format" that's all.

Somehow, i was able to solve the problem. When i went to export the file, i was able to open up a new menu that i had not seen before which gave me the option of saving my file as an MPEG-2 or AVI. Once i got there, the audio was fine.
