i'm not sure if it's region free for dvd's or not (as i wouldn't waste the laser on watching movies) but i know for games it's region free so far...perhaps someone who's bought one from across the pond could tell us if it works w/ different region dvds.

im from scotland and region 1 dvd's don't work on my uk version 360
