If You Have A 360 And Dont Have An HDTV Then You Really Need To Get One. Microsoft Really Dug Into Peoples Wallets When They Included An HDTV Cable With The Premium Pack, And People Started To Buy HDTVs Like Crazy. My 60 Inch DLP Is The Perfect Compliment To My 360. BUT DONT BUY A PLASMA!!! They Burn In Way Too Quickly!!! Sonys SXRD LCOS TV Is Nice, But It Cant Display In 1080p Like My DLP Can. If You Have A Large Budget, Than Buy A DLP They Are The Best You Can Buy. DLP Projectors Are Good Too, But You Need A Lot Of Room.
I GOT A 360!!!!!

Actually it's not. If there's no burns in your plasma after 5 years of use, then I'm Jesus. Lcd is sharper than plasma, but the best way to go is hd-capable crt.

within the past few years the technology of the plasmas have gone up and the companies have made it so the "burn in" doesn't occur anymore. As for the DLP they are nice but also have some problems with the projectors burning out, and the so called "rainbow affect" so it is all a matter of preference for the user/buyer. LCDs are good for sizes up to around 42 inches, plasmas are good for up to like 55 60 inches. LCDs usually do have the best picture quality but the DLPs are also very bright and a good choice for people looking for big TVs. So in the end its all a matter preference

I totally agree with you. Lcd's are usually damn expensive from 32" and up. I think that the smallest plasma I've seen was 32" and it was way cheaper than lcd's the same size.

Yea the problem with the LCDs is once they get up to like 40+ they screens get too pixelated and the image quality drops. The biggest sucessful LCD to date is i believe a 60inch one by panasonic (not commercially available though). So its all pretty much a matter of what size are you looking to get and how much are you willing to spend :) For me i got a 26 inch sony 16:9 LCD tv for my room and i am more then please when playin games on 1080i!

I'm not so into interlaced signal, so I ended up with a cheaper 27" lcd that's capable up to 720p. It was 699e two months ago when I bought it.

ok wait u say that dont buy a plasma? no thats the worst thing, granted LCD r good at smaller sizes but at the upper reaches u need a plasma. even though lcd has greater resolution, plasmas have better picture and color quality. Ur gonna say like "but it will burn in." No, the only way it gets burned in is if u leave a COMPLETELY static image on it for 1.5 hours. Considering u dont play a single round of a game for more than 1.5 hours it wont get burned in. I played my 360 for 14 hours straight in one day no burn in, no nothing. I by accident left my plasma on once for an hour, it got a burned in of the old xbox setup page. It disappeared after a day cuz it was permenant. There is never a case when u will get a burn in, unless ur completely retarded

Actually that would be pretty easy to do. Just leave it on the dashboard for a couple hours. I have no idea if Plasma's have a burn-in problem or not but your way of proving otherwise seems a little weak.

Like i said u have to be a complete retard to leave it just on the dashboard for a couple of hours. And if ur downloading from xbox live it never takes more than 1.5 hours to downloads trailers, demos etc and even IF it did u would want to watch the progress bar go up, so u could just watch tv while its downloading
