Okay so I softmodded my xbox yesterday with unleashX and everything was fine until today I was snooping around my file manager and saw a file named Bios and was wondering what it would do if I pressed on it.So I pressed A (stupid mistake) and then black screen.Ok, I resarted my xbox then it went to boot the dash and just stayed on the big X,like when you
first start up your xbox.It does boot up games when there in the tray when I start it up.Also no saves show up in my games.PLZ help me fix this problem.Maybe there is way to hook up my XBOX HDD to pc and reinstall any dashboard.Just a guess

also when I rebooted directly after this happen It said like xbox servive and at the top left hand corner there was 21.Also the light was blinking red and green.

Dude you have the same problem I have and I m still looking for an andwer in how to fix this. You Erased your Xbox operating system. I heard there is still hope in fixing this but I don't know what am I supose to do to fix this.

Do you guys have Action Replay? or someway of transfering game saves from a PC to a Xbox memory Card?

i have the same thigh with my xbox i was wording if i could use a hardware refrash disc i seen those thing on ebay aned i was warding if it was worth it to buy

Error 21 is usually a messed up mod /App Install .. Just reinstll the Softmod.

i got the same issue except that mine wont read any cds at all my cousin used a disc he had and ended up erasing all the saves oon this xbox so i cant reinstall the soft mod i have aid 211 that i got a friend to downloaad for me but the prob im having with it is that it has like 22 different files in it and im unsure which ones i need to use so if someone can give me a hand i would appreciae it

Dude your xbox is junk now sorry to say but since you messed with your bios....The bios is like the wat you need to boot your xbox and there is no way you can Ftp it into your xbox.......The only way to fix this is to program your own Bios on the Motherboards or W/e and i doubt you know how to do that....i don't even no how to do it :)
Edit: i was just reading your post more lol and noticed you said that you could boot up games so i think you can disregard to wat i said......

Ahh I am asking them if they have Action Replay so they can try the Linux hack and uninstall /reinstall Softmod

Fr3aky - How did u softmod?
And yes you can hook your xbox hd in your pc using xboxhdm.
You will need you eeprom file though.

Dont you think I would have tryed to take it off with action replay.Like I said I CANT GET TO MY DASHBOARD.If there is some other way to get your saves to open other going than trough MS dashboard.Plus how do you think I got the softmod on in the first place.

ok all you guys need to do is just -
1.turn on the xbox and put in the game you guys used to install the softmod,
2.just do the steps you did to go to the softmod installation menu and just click install softmod and install the dashboard you wish.

all you need to do is go to xbins and get slayers that reinstalls everything back to the original dash and everything
