So what are peoples views on the upcoming Ps2 version of the PsP's GTA:LCS? Personally i think its great to get it on the big screen and i cant wait to see what they add and what they do to the radio stations as the PsP's version due to disk size was pretty short but you can add your own custom tracks like you could in the xbox versions but i highly doubt that the Ps2 version will unless they figure out some way to play custom audio from a USB pen :P

did not know they were making it for PS2?
But if they do i will pick it up just for kicks
But they might really have to improve it to make it a
good PS2 or Xbox game. If they take the time to rework the
whole game then i am sure it will be ok, If not then it will
just be a "let's make more money" dissapointment.

Yep http://ps2.ign.com/objects/792/792359.html, still I think a lot of people will still buy it even if they never made any great improvements than the PsP version but we all know anything with the gta tag sells, i have faith in Rockstar as the PsP version is great and judging from the changes they made for Vice City and then were they went with San Andreas it should be good.

I'm waiting for the next GTA game (hopefully the follow up to GTA 3) for the PS3. Does LCS have any links to GTA 3 at all?

Sweet! I'm glad GTA:LCS is coming out on ps2. I bought the psp just to own GTA:LCS, but the psp wasn't worth it so I returned it and sold the game. But yea pretty sweet. I can't wait. I checked gamespot.com and I think it said LCS is going to be out around second quarter of 2006.

@weazel200 yeah its based in Liberty City and the other two islands just like 3 except this time its 2 years b4 3 and you play as Toni Cipriani (the guy with the mad mother that you never actually see).

Play.com (uk site) has the date down for 31/03/2006 give or take a month, not really that long of a wait :)
