I have an xbox360 premium and notice that the machine gets very hot. I put a fan on the side of it and have it in a well ventilated area. I've had it freeze up on me like 3 times while playing but it started back up after restarting the game. Will this heat damage my system and damage my game? Also what happens if I play a game that has a resolution of 480 on a 1080 definition tv?

my machine as well gets very hot.. it is really nothing to worrk about.. now about the freezing part, i would suggest calling 1800-4my-xbox. I think that you may want to consider sending it in to get it fixed. Nothing happens if you play 480 on 1080 you are just not going to see the hd graphics you would if you were playing 1 a 1080 game

Thank you for responding to my question. I really appreciate it. I will probably exchange my xbox360 for a new one. I have a year warranty with EB games and have until December to bring it to them if anything is wrong. It froze up on me 3 different times while playing NFS. This was before I put a fan onside it and noticied that the game disc was very hot. Since the fan, I played it for 2 1/2 hours straight with no problems. I find that it first gets really hot then it seems to level out. Do you think I should return it to EB games and get a new one? I would definetly have to wait until they become stocked with them. The freezing up isn't a major problem. It didn't do it constantly. The reason why I sound like a nut is because I went through so much to get the darn thing and want to make sure something is really wrong before I send it off or exchange it!!
