Best Affordable DVD Burner

Hey I was just wondering if you could give me some good affordable dvd burners. I want to replace my old cd-rom, but I also have a tight budget. I have heard a lot about lite-on, benQ, NEC, LaCie dvd burners and was wondering if any of these are recommend. What are some other decent ones out there that don't cost a lot? Thanks for the help.

You can get lots of drives that you mentions for under $50.00. I have an NEC 3550a and a LG 4163b. Both are excellent and produce great backups.
