That is a loaded question. I have had no problems with Nero 7, but I have to say I am in a minority on that one based on posts. Nero 6.6 is the grand daddy of burning and stability. If you are looking for a reliable burning program without all of the extras offered by Nero 7, then go with 6.6.

Please see below for the link for Nero6.

You must download Package 1 and Package 2 can be downloaded if you want it as well.

Good Luck - let me know how you get on.

If you are thinking of upgrading then I would recommend Nero7 it appears that all the bugs are now ironed out. You can download Nero 6 from this site in software section(Look at the top of the page)

Nero7, is only a free trial for a month and then you either buy it or delete it from your system. I am not sure but I've heard ther's a watermark on trial version.
For Nero6 you can try to download from this link, you only need package 1 & 2.

As much as I love Nero 6 Ultra 6.6.0.18, I'll have to say that I've been using Nero 7 since late October 2005 and Nero 7 has never let me down. All burning, converting, transcoding/encoding has been flawlessly.

I guess I'm (the few) that is/are more than satisfied with Nero 7.
