I have used dvd shrink for a while now with little problems. I am now having trouble copying anything. If anyone can help please try to decipher this. I have Nero 7 ultra edition, a hp dvd 740 burner, and just a couple of days ago had no trouble. I got nero 7 cause i thought that was the problem.
this is the first part of the message, and then the last, Please help!

Nero is up to 7.0.1.4 now, but I don't think this is the problem.

I think this is the Roxio driver. Nero and Roxio are know to not play well together. You can strip Roxio from your system via this tool: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml
Please provide a complete log for further perusal, there is probably more to this problem such as media used, burn speeds, target size etc.
Also requesting this be moved to the Nero forum.

The root of all evil, stay away from memorex, imation etc. Use only quality media such as verbatim, taiyo yuden or sony, fuji, maxell (made in Japan).
Quote: Burn process started at 8x (11,080 KB/s)
Way too fast for those discs, burn at a max of 4X for any media.

When you click backup in DVD Shrink and are planning on burning with Nero, go to the last tab marked Burn Settings, you can change the burn speed there.
