Hello, I have a Sony Wega "HD Ready" TV. To play XBox 360 in HD, do I just plug the special HD cord in to my TV or do I need some sort of box as well?

all you will need to do is hook the cables straight to the tv.. should be ypbpr cables..possibly vga,but the ypbpr works best

My HDTV was also HDTV ready. I hooked the HD Component Cables to my Tv and begin playing my 360. What I failed to realize is that I was not receiving my full 1080 out of my Tv. After you have everything hooked up turn on your XBOX360 and go to the puple screen System then look for Console settings and select that. From there select display and you will be able to adjust it to 1080. This will allow you to get the most out of you HDTV.
