Hello all,

I recently backed up an NTSC game to play on my PAL PS2, and I am having trouble getting it to display correctly. (The game is Suikoden 3)

I am using Swap magic v3.6. When I run the game in NTSC mode, it displays in black and white, but when I run it in PAL mode the colour is there (but the video is choppy). Now I know that these are classic symptoms of my TV not taking NTSC format, but I am able to play other NTSC games and videos with no problem (I use a scart connector)

I was wondering if anyone has any clues as to why one NTSC game in particular would not display correctly? It seems to me that if one NTSC game displays ok they all should..

Should I try using an NTSC to PAL patcher on the Iso? I dont have any good media at the moment, so I'm hoping that there is a simple solution :)

Edit : please disregard this entire post, I was just being a retard. it turns out that my tv displays the scart input in black and white when the a/v channel is not selected.. Doh.. at least that is a simple solution

I had the same problem..

My TV could'nt play the new NTSC format.. so he hooked up a NTSC to PAL converter to the TV... much better than using a program..

the 2 converters didn't work for me..

#1 - took hours but never finished

#2 - worked, but then loaded playstation n stuff like that.. but never loaded the game XD
