My name is ameen ahmad my.am having a old model (Dell inspiron 7000) laptop.Can i turn its lcd screen to my desktop monitor .Please guide me how to do that.

in short its not easy first you need to know all of the board specs and how to solder then properly and find another board and try and make it power is from ac instead of dc so in short it will be a headache and only someone with a electrical engineering degree should try it I'm a mechanical engineer and I wouldn't attempt it
