Lately the dvd+r's from my friends from scotland and wiltshire, whom I trade frequently with (concert dvd+rs) Have not been working in my standalones.
All disc's I have received from them in the past have worked fine, until just recently. They say they haven't change anything in their process. But my player says play back may not be available on this disc,
They work on my PC and when I reburn them using shrink and decrypter they still will not work, they id as dvd-rom. I don't know what to think about this. Any ideas?
Now the region code is ripped off during my ripping and they are burned under the dvd-rom so any more info I could give you?
Hmmm this is the same prob im having... do your friends send u DVDs /w movies already on them or do u get blanks from them and put the movies on ur self cuz i recently burnt a movie i got in europe and had a PAL problem so... im guesing when the manufacturers make movies over there they do more than region code it.
It may be that the media is a faster code, or a faster speed was used and is not compatible with your dvd player. In my experience, unless you burn again from the original (not the copy), you will still get the same playback issues.
ok the difference between PAL and a region code is a region code is where it can be played and PAL is the framerate.
So i figured out how to convert the video files before i burn them to dvd, but how can i convert .ISO image files or VIDEO_TS folders to NTSC? could some one lead me to a guide or tell me plz?
