Anyone familiar with Cingulars PTT phones

looking to get new phones would like to try their PTT. They only offer the two phones Samsung and LG. Had Samsung phones in the past were not impressed with their signal outage for rural areas. Had great luck with Motorola and Nokia. So what I am asking is on the SamsungD357 they offer has any tried it in a rural setting and gotten good results on reception.
