Well I know that my Maxell DVD+R works great for me. But if you were going to get the next best like Verbatim and Tayio Yuden then you should get the DVD-R.

Get whatever (DVD-R or DVD+R) that works for your PS2, as long as they're high quality media. Me, I'm a DVD+R person (book type-holic), so I changed the "book type" into DVD-ROM and it worked flawlessly for me. Media I used are: genuine Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim "advanced azo or datalife plus" and MAXELL (mij by Hitachi).

However, the choice is yours.

i'm probably starting out with some verbatim advanced azo's from best buy, then buying yuden's from supemediastore.com


i don't have a dvd burner than can change booktype, sadly. sigh
