It sound to me like you burned the game a little too fast. Try reburning the game at a slower speed (it is recommended that you burn at half the disc speed) and this may help.

i made a back up of this disc on a dvd+ disc & had exactly the same problem i then tried on a dvd- disc (both burnt at same speed) the dvd- is perfect. a friend of mine had exactly the same with his dvd+ and dvd- also worked perfect for him. also make sure that the disc you are burning to is a quality disc (you can find a list of good burning media in dvd+/- forum.)
hope this helps you

I would surely use DVD-R 8X speed.
And good quality discs are a must. If you want someone to
be able to comment on the problem possibly being your media.
Then you will have to post up what brand and speed you used.
And what speed you burned them at would help.
But it does sound like a media or burning speed problem to me

I dont know i get the yuden's in today.....i back up nfs mostwanted and it does the same thing-glitches real bad and loads in the middle of the street and i use DVD+R verbatim from sams club and bought a new batch from sams 100Pk and my ps2 wont read those at all now so i'm hopefull that the yudens +r will read because i think sams got a bad batch of the verbatims. When my Yudens come in Ill post here and tell if it made a difference.
