I just downloaded Transformers Tenkaichi and the iso file was a winwar file. I unzipped it and it gave me a lot of other files and folders. What do I do with these files in order to burn them onto a dvd?

More than likely you have the game files rather than an image file, open Nero select DVD-ISO(UDF/ISO) add the files and burn.

I am also confused, if it was a rar file did you have about
40 files? If so then yes extracting them was correct. Then you have to rebuild the ISO.
here are 2 tutorials, one if you have Nero, the other if you do not.
But you may need someone to tell you what order the files should be in as each time i had to rebuild one i dropped the files into the burning program in the same order thay were in on the original disc or ISO.
