If you are a pain in the ass fanboy, please leave now.

I have a 360 console, and as everyone is talking about overheating I thought i'd ask about it. I know it's probably fanboys blowing it all out of proportin, but now I have my worries.

I've had the 360 a couple of weeks. It has NEVER overheated (with the red lights showing), but I have noticed it's VERY warm at the back - and so is the power pack. It might be me, but it seems to be getting warmer. It is on my drawers (not enclosed).

I could put a fan on my drawers, but I'd rather it just f*cked up while it is still new and under warranty etc.

What is everyone else like?

I have the same problem. I find at first it gets really hot then tends to level off. I bought a stand for it, its like a bird cage in the shape of a perfect square. This allows the ventilation part. I also hung the power strip from string to keep it off the ground. And to top it off I bought a fan and placed it right next to the 360. That seemed to solve my heating problems but it still gets a little warm.

I think the people having constant overheating problems are ones with very little ventilation. I have mine inside a cabinet with the glass doors closed while I'm playing it. I did install a couple of pc fans on the back of the cabinet to suck out hot air right behind the xbox 360. Stays quiet and I haven't had any overheating problems.
People that have them out in the open should have even better airflow.

Are you really going to trust them to crack your 400$ system with no warranty to back it up. I would dig deeper into the company, make sure they have a good REP.
