Hello, My name is Chris and I'm hoping someone here will be able to help me out a bit.
I have transferred a camcorder video to dvd using Nero. It's worked fine EXCEPT its chopped about 20% of the left and right sides off!!
Any suggestions ?

What I would suggest is that you alter resolutions as such

When you open NVE go to confogure and change.
The settings I have used work well for me.

Chris,

It'd help to have a little more info:

What are you capturing with, Nero or ???
Can you play your captured video on the PC in MediaPlayer or whatever and see it correctly?
And as Gwendolin mentioned, NTSC or PAL?

If you can't get it going, that info would be a good starting point for others here to help.
