The Xbox 360 hard drive is supposed to hold 20GB right. Well mine holds a maximum od 13GB is this because the hardrive has certain files on it to play old games? Any answers?

if you searched, or browsed you would find the answer is yes, just because it's 20GB doesn't mean it'll be 20GB free space. kinda like when u buy a PC from dell, should have 80 free, well it's got like 75GB free, not exactly the same, but you kinda get the idea. everyones HDD is 13GB. but yeah, it's to house the emulators and other goodies.

the 7-8 gb of "used space" that ppl have been talking about is the reserved space for game saves. Cuz i remember on the old xbox its was 8 gb, so im assuming that 8 gb were just reserved so u dont have to worry about the room

Does anyone think Fifa Street 2 (available 2/28/06) will work on the 360. It is not being made as a 360 game. Just regular Xbox.

Felt a bit pissed off about the 20G thing, i actually went back to game and asked if they knew what the story was... hadnt a clue, so would it be classed as false advertising?

It isn't actually reserved space, if you delete everything on the HDD you should get close to 20 GB

The hard drive is 20 gb, it isn't false advertising just because they used some of it. If you deleted everything on your hardrive which I do not recommend you do, there would be 20gb of free space. A lot of things advertise the size of the hardrive and use some of it. [i.e. computers and any mp3 player]
