I burned the movie Sasquatch Hunters (I legally own), and it will play perfectly on both my computers, and my upstairs DVD burner.

But my Sony DVD player wont play it. It reconizes that it is a DVD, and trys to play it, but wont. It plays all of my other backed up DVDs without a problem, its just this one. Any ideas?

I am using DVD-R Ridata disks, burning at 2X.

Thanks

It's a sad fact but true, some DVD players will not recognize some formats. The best thing to do is use the +R format and booktype it to DVD-ROM which seems to be the most compatable format.
Here's a guide that will help you with booktyping.

Gewn's right there are compatablity issues with some players. -r is more compatable than +r but most newer players will play both formats.
Make sure your burner is able to booktype. What brand & model do you have?
2 others things to try: Make sure your firmware on your burner is up to date. Try a lens cleaner in the player. It may be a bit dusty.
