i got my 360 yesterday and i dunno if its just my 360 but when i play dvds the screen skips but the sound contine as if everything is fine.
it cant be the dvd cos ive tryed 3 diffent ones and two of em are brand new

Sounds like you may have a problem with your xbox 360 dvdrom drive.|
Give xbox support a call and tell them about your problem.
