for my slim line ps2.... v13....
there are 3 switches that notify the ps2 door is open/closed....

2 of my switches are fine... but 1 switch is not....
i need help finding out if im missing a piece, or if something else is wrong......

the switch in the back right, with the white cube on it, when the lid is shut it pushes it to the right.....

mine pushes to the right, but hits nothing? .... it should trigger some sort of switch, but mine just moves back and forth hitting nothing ...... im missing a piece... or something...

i took my case off, and now this switch does nothing.... when i put the case back on, and i move the switch ... it hits nothing.... i think i knocked a piece off of the case when i opened it ....

i need some help please....

Sounds like you lost your spring that makes it lock in

is there a spring under this switch?
i have the spring that brings switch back to the left side and i have the tool that holds it to the right side, but.... the switch doesnt toggle anything.... is there a spring there>?
