Okay first of the 360 is a great machine, I have a HDTV and it looks great. But the one things thatS REALLY REALLY ****** me off was microsoft not allowing streaming video on non-media centre XP PCs. They crippled it on purpose, an XP Home/Pro is perfectly capable of streaming video but microsoft says NO.......... WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYY
whats your view on this?
You are reading a mindless signature, please stop reading it now it is mindless, one can only presume you are mindless since you are still reading this mindless signature, Oh my god get a life you mindless person, whats the matter with you, dont you have a girlfreind? mindless mindless mindless

Because they want to make more money with OS sales. And if you have a cpu, then you'll probably have a tv-out too. So why not use it?

lcarbutt, i definately see where your commin from, but like arcanix said, its all about sales.
But no worries, in time the X360 will be hackable, and we'll be able to do lots of cool stuff with it.

basically u just need your pc networked with your console.
Like if u use a router to connect your console and pc to the internet.
Either that or connect your console directly to your pc through ethernet port.
Remember media center to stream video, not media connect, that just allows for music and pics.
