HI I took a jpg image tryed copy & paste not sure how to post one up as you say,explane please. new to this . useing Nero cd dvd tool would like know what results mean in bench mark -disk quality-scan disk, on burned dvd movies. thanks for the reply. Xbill.

You will need to create an account with an online image host such as photobucket or imageshack, both are free. Upload the image to the site and then you can post the direct link created there to here at AD.

keep in mind, different burners yeild different results, as well as choice of media...

sorry about that mix up i made a mess of that. can you explane the pi errors& pi failures+ the quality scores mean? whats good or bad? thanks for the help you give me. trying to learn but it's slow .Xbill

Congratulations on getting the image up and on a truly hideous scan...LOL

That my freind is terrible, but I've seen worse. Did you look at the thread I gave you a link for a few posts back?

looks like the burn was eiter too fast or the original was full of errors..
the scan and link like loco posted offers good info.
i did not look up your burner, but there may be an update..
i'll post the link in a while, i am not at home.... now !

well, also according to your scan, the read test was @ 4x, if you run the scan @ 8x you'll get different results.
typically, the lower the PIE/PIF numbers, the better.
i think like 4 and less, but the score suffers from the PIE/PIF failures.
run your scan @ 8x just for kicks and compare the 2..

i dunno whats on your image there xbill, the x just takes you to imageshack !!
you need to make sure you copy the url and put your [quote*]url here[/quote*] and remove the *'s
