Hopefully someone can help me out on this. I managed to burn a season of a tv show and one movie before the rest of the dvds i burnt started to skip. I've tried to burn about 3 or 4 movies now and everytime they either don't play at all or stop and go every few seconds. These movies work fine on my computer. I don't know what's going on....can someone please help me? This is an external Sony burner that I'm using and Nero 7. Thank you in advance for the help!

Meg

Could be a media problem, what type of disc are you using. What is your burn speed.

@Meggie22, I feel 100% confident it's the poor quality memorex discs you are using, sorry to say but they are CRAP and I would throw them into the rubbish bin. Most problems are caused by their use. Try using Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden and burn around 4X.

it already takes about 3-4 hours to burn... that will make it a lot slower right?

I doubt if the ACTUAL burning would take that long, it's what happens prior to the BURN that takes the time. Do NOT multitask while you are burning, close down any unnecessary programs like spyware etc. Remember, Memerox=TROUBLE
