If I can get a corrupted disc to play in the PC that won't in a home deck, is there any program that will allow me to play/record it into a new file, like, for example Sonic Foundry does with audio?

I have made copies of the corrupted DVD but the copy is the same - will play in the PC but nothing else.

Try reading the dvd in ifo mode using DVD Decrypter the run it thru avi2dvd and burn the resulting iso image this should correct any structure problems
