hello guys i need some help i made a backup copy of YU YU HAKASHO DARK TOURNAMENT with DVD Decrypter and burned it like all my other games but it dosent work it keeps saying Not A Valid PS2 Disc burned it twice and no luck i even rebuild it and still same thing waisted 3 dvds :/ can someone help me out i got

Slim PS2
Swap Magic 3.6 Plus
Sony DVD+R 8x Yuden Brand made in japan

i know its not the media because during the past 1 week i have burned over 50 games and they all work very great this is the only game that dosent work :/

its nice that you did some research before posting.

did you try doing a special boot, press square instead of x and let me know.

also if this is a downloaded game, it might be a bad iso.

what speed did you burn at? and did you book-type?

thanks for replying to tell you the truth i dont know what book-type mean does it mean like burning it as dvd-rom i dont know how to do that but i will search :) i use DVD Decrypter also got the newest alcohol %120 and Nero Ultra 7 but dont know the way to burn with them also the game is not downloaded it was made from real copy also when i play for 2 or 3 hours then it gets wierd when i try to play another game it dosent read the swap magic disc very good so i trun it off for about 10 min then try again and it works. anyways ima go try what you told me with botton Square hope it works :)

Try booktyping the game. The media is definitely not the problem.

53. Q. What is Booktyping?
A. Booktyping is the ability to burn a DVD+R so it that appears as a pressed DVD-ROM in any DVD-ROM drive it's inserted in. If you booktype DVD+R's, this allows for greater compatibility with most stand alone DVD players, including your PS2. Your burner has to support booktyping (most newer ones do).

Then just use quality DVD-R's like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. I use 8x Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's from http://www.supermediastore.com

lol I use 8x Taiyo Yuden DVD+R's :D and i do buy them from the same site you provided me. its ok i will just break the game into 1000 pieces then break my ps2 if it dosent work lol jk :D thanks for the help.

Instructions to Gnie's Tool ExPERT From Paddymail:

Here's how to use it.. it might not work for all games though.

Open the program.

1. Select the Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5_iso.epi on the plugins drop down list.
2. Select the iso you want to rebuild.
3. Click extract LBA.
4. Click extract file and wait for it to finish.
5. Click rebuild file and wait for it to finish.
6. Click rebuild LBA.
7. Burn the new iso with Nero or DVD Decrypter as usual.
