Please i seriously need help. I am new on this boards and i just got a video ipod for christmas. The problem that i am having is putting videos onto my ipod.....I hasve absolutely no idea wat to do so if someone could carry me through from the beging on wat i should do it would be GREAT!....
Here is some info that u may need to know inorder to help me:
Computer - windows xp
Music systems - Window media player, itunes, realplayer
quick time, and juke box
Ipod - 30gb
download sourse- limewire
I already have a video downloaded already..Now can someone help me on wat steps to take inorder to get it onto my ipod and by the way i got the video from limewire.

1) Please remove your e-mail address from your post as it is against forum rules.
2) I don't have an iPod and I don't know how to put videos onto it.
3) What I do know is that video's have to be in the MP4 format in order to work on the iPod. So you may have to use a program to convert it.
4) The Afterdawn iPod guru Lethal_B will probably answer your question so just hang in there.

ok....no email adress wow...BUT I NEED HELP!!!! AND THE BEST WAY TO GET IT IS BY EMAIL......LETHAL EMAIL ME PLZ !!!!THANX N SRRY 4 POSTING MY ADDRESS ITS JUST I'M DESPERATE PLEASE UNDERSTAND N I ALREADY KNO THAT THEY GOTTA BE IN MP4 FORMAT...I JUST NEED A WALK THROU ON WAT TO DO

Please, edit out your e-mail, and don't write in all caps, because that too is against the regulations. Maybe you should read them, the link is in the top of my sig;
And as dkmopq says, look at the guides at the top of the forum. Videora is probably your best bet, because it's easy to use, ideal for the newbie..

You can read the flippin' guide. I asked one thing and no i didn't ask you to comment . ok 4 get it. i had certain things i wanted to perticularly ask that isn't listed in the post guild line , but never mind i'll just find some one who's willing to help me get my ipod vids on. every one always got a smart comment when they don't even know the real deal. i'm tired of the bull shit! i ask one fucking question! and some dumb ass gunna post something fucking different i ask 4 a fucking particular thing. SHIT i was being nice to every one n this cat jump on me n u justify him even thou i read the fucking damn crap and had extra fucking things to kno so fuck this dumb ass sight ban me if u fucking want!!!!

As you can see around these forums, I am more than happy/willing to help people wilt all the problems they have. You need to work on your people skills if you want to get help from myself & others.

ok u r not serious...lethal from the beging was i being mean?i want u to be honest....and the only reason i got mad was because he/she said something that was offending to me cause all i asked was one simple thing and i asked 4 one simple thing a walk through if thats not basic english to read then i don't know wat is every time i see people go and just over do it u say some thing and they act like they want to be funny and bring something in thats the opposit from wat is asked. and i did notice that u were being nice to ppl thats the reason why i asked 4 your help but then u came and said lol at watever it was......just 4 get it please because i am catching a heart attack over MY IPOD i don't know wat to do. I read the guids b 4 i came on here. What mine work 4 u may not work 4 me ( vise versa ) and i just wanted help on one thing and by the way dead eddie i may catch another heart attack because of smart allicks like u why do u even post a comment.

OK, I'm not here to battle, I am here to help.
Download a program like videora ==> http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/
Then use this program to convert your videos to mp4. If you get stuck with what to do, look @ steps 7 & 8 here ==> http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/guides.html (or post back in here)
Then once you have the videos converted, either drag them or go file ==> add folder to library, and import your videos. Then, all you have to do is connect your iPod to your PC, and click Update. If you get stuck. Post back.
