Need some input...

I keep losing my internet connection, althouh the computer still says my wireless connection is good. After unplugging my modem and router, the signal comes right back. The weird thing is, it only happens when im using a torrent client. I was using ABC and switched to BitComet with the same results. anyone out there know what the problem is?

Bittorrent itself uses alot of your connection (generally tries to max connection out to upload as well as download at full speed). So when you are using a BT client, and you dont have your settings right, its eating up your connection thus kicking everything else offline. when you reboot the modem, you kicked the BT client offline in effect restoring the connection. you start using the BT client again, connection dies again doesnt it? Try turning down your max upload speed to half of your connections max upload ability. I keep mine set to about 30 kbps and my connection stays alive. Also, downloading multiple torrents (more then 3 or 5) at once can also kill your connection
