I need a lot of help here, and hope someone can be really specific in helping me with this situation.
I have two Archos multi players, one is an AV-480 and the other is the AV-700.
I first got the AV-480 and I used it to copy all my original DVD?s on it and when the unit got full, I transferred all my movies over to my computer?s external hard drives that I have. When I transferred the moves over, some of them said copy right protected, but I was still able to put them back on the same AV-480 and watch them. By the way, I have over 450 original DVD?s.
My problem is that when I got my other Archos AV-700, I tried to copy the movies over unto the unit, but the movies that said Copy Right Protected, will not play, or if it did play, it will either play scrambled or will only give me sound.

Now what I need to know is if there is anyone that knows how to either turn off or remove the Copy Right Protection, or if there?s some kind of software that will allow me to do this. Weather it will be some type of software filter so that when I transfer my movies over to my AV-700, it will block the Copy Right Protection.

Thanks a Million, I don?t mind paying for it, as long as it works.

I see nothing to do with Nero in this post.

Here is a 7 page thread on your archos players

Some answers for you may be in it. I didnt read much of it.

When decrypting the Original DVD, is the copy right protection removed from the original DVD or just the copied one. Also, will the owner of the Original DVD find any faults in the movie after it being decrypted and so on.

AnyDvd can remove all protections while simply
running in the background.
They have a free 21 day trial and the program
itself is updated regularly,

Good luck
