Philips DVD+R 416 series probelm

I am having probelems with my Philips DVD+R 416 series.If I try to copy a dvd+r to a dvd+r with nero 6.It reads ok but when it gets to the writing stage it just goes to about 23 percent it says write failed it has done this around 6 times.I then tryed copying my dvd+r to dvd+rw and workrd successfully.I then tryed copying the contents of my dvd+r to my hard drive and I got a cylidrical redundecey error.

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH MY PROBELEM PLEASE!!!!
