I have lots of lectures in mp3 format that I want to put on a CD (I know how to burn). I was hoping to fit 5-7 on a 700mb CD, so using dbpower amp, I converted them to a compressed wave files (radio quality). Each file was 45-95 mb each in wave. When I wanted to burn them, only one file would fit on a CD (tried Nero and Roxio). Is there anyway to burn an audio CD to hold more minutes of audio, as I'm willing to sacrifice quality? Thanks in advance.

Audio CD's are going to go strictly by minutes.(80mins. to a 700mb CD) You could find Cd's that will fit 90 or 99mins. I think, but that probably won't suffice, I'm guessing. The only other thing you can do is make an mp3 CD & use a player that will read mp3's. Than it goes by Mb's.

I would recommend making an MP3 cd instead of an audio cd as you will be able to fit more on compared to an audio cd.

Thanks for the help. I'm making these discs for a friend who doesn't have an mp3 cd player, so I am going to suggest he get an mp3 player w/cassette adapter for his car. Then I don't have to burn 100 cds for him! Thanks again,

MP3 cd's do have the advantage over audio cd's but the downfall is compatability issues.
